  2. I want to thank you all for your input during our first meeting (10/28). I want to put a reminder in that our next meeting will be Tuesday 11/18 @7:00 PM in the Fish.
At the 11/9 Administrative Council meeting (please try to be there), I will give a short summary of what we are looking at and offer inclusion in the group if others have interest.

The next meeting will include visioning (daydreaming) about what a successful CUMC might look like in the year 2018. What do we want to become? Who does God want us to serve?
Future meetings will discuss how successful plans might be implemented.

I look forward to seeing you there.

  5. Tammy and I met with Charlotte at her house Wednesday afternoon for a small group meeting. We worked from the Upper Room series. It was the first time in my life I had ever done anything like that. I have to say that it was intersting, thought provoking but non threatening and a wonderful way to end a busy day. Thanks Charlotte! I’m looking forward to the next one!

Jim my schedule has changed (yet again) and I’ll be able to make it on the 18th. I’ll also be there on Sunday.

    God Bless!

  6. At the last Ad Council meeting, Joyce White suggested that answers will come with prayer. Thanks for reminding me, Joyce!!! I need people like her around to keep me on the right track!!! The barriers we face are no match for the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray people, pray!

  7. It has been suggested that waiting until January to have the next meeting is too long and we will lose momentum.
If you agree, contact me at jshelpwiz@yahoo.com or in person and I will set up something in December.

  8. I guess this is as good a place as any to go on record – I don’t think we should skip December. I understand that Jim was just trying not to make a very busy time of the year more so. My opinion is that this is just too important to put on hold until January. I vote for meeting in December.

  9. I agree, things are starting to happen and we need to stay on top of it with good communication. –Tammy Ebert

  10. I want to be sure that everyone is aware that we will be voting on our top priorities at the February 3 meeting. This will be a pivotal meeting in the direction of the group.
